Yin Yoga for the hips

I am a certified Yoga Teacher and Yin is one of my favourite yoga practices to reduce stress and relax. Yin Yoga is a gentle and restorative style of yoga that focuses on long-held, passive stretches for 3-5min. It's the perfect practice for you looking to reduce stress, release tension, increase flexibility, and find deep relaxation. With an emphasis on mindfulness and breath, Yin Yoga is a powerful tool for finding balance in our often fast-paced lives.

Why the Hips?

Our hips are often the storehouses of old stuck emotions, tension and stress. Hours spent sitting at desks, commuting, or even standing for extended periods can take a toll on this vital part of our body. Yin Yoga for the Hips allows you to release deep-seated tension, improve flexibility, and enhance the flow of vital energy throughout your body.

What to Expect

In this video, I will guide you through a series of gentle, supported poses designed to target the hips and surrounding areas. You'll be encouraged to find your edge in each posture, using props like bolsters and blocks to ensure a comfortable and safe experience.

Throughout the session, I will lead you in meditation and breathwork, helping you connect with your body and mind on a profound level. This holistic approach to yoga fosters a sense of inner peace and tranquility.
